Mirandés 0 Real Murcia 1

What a relief! Three points that keep our heads above water, putting Real 2 points above the relegation zone. But more than that, it ends a terrible run of form, and will instill the team with a bit more belief. Mirandés were one of the form sides, unbeaten in 6, and unbeaten at home since 6thof October. Compare this to our current form, our last away point at Sabadell on the 12th of December, our last away win back on 29th September at Xerez.
Mirandés : Candela – Koikili – Alain (Rayco 73’) – Mujika – Martins – Luis Morán (Sergio Suarez 68’) – Soria – Iribas – Aitor (Muneta 45’) – Díaz de Cerio
Real Murcia : Javi Jiménez – Molinero – Mauro – Catalá – Oscar Sánchez – Nafti (Acciari 67’) – Matilla – Toribio – Sutil (Saúl 65’) – Ruso Gracia
Goal : 0 – 1 Matilla 6’.
Referee : Mr. Ocón Arraiz.
Clearly another week with Onésimo has had its effect. Mirandés creating little apart from one bad miss, we looked relatively comfortable. The fact we only had 1 yellow card (I can’t remember the last time we had only 1 in a game) is very positive. I wouldn’t say we have turned a corner, but there seemed to be better discipline, and we finally managed to keep a clean sheet.
We must rubber stamp the improvement in the next 2 games, both at home, against Numancia and Xerez.
